Five Faves: Happy Birthday Week Little Man!

Just shy of one year
2 days old
Linking up with Hallie over at Moxie Wife, all the while still continuing in birthday week celebrations! I'm stuck in the midst of not wanting to let go of the baby part of my boy, so here are five favorite photos of him that remind me what a sweet, loving, joyful baby he is. While I am excited with every new milestone and take delight in watching him grow, I will miss the sweet snuggly goodness that infancy held.

~1~

Those first whiffs of baby head smell...

~2~

The warmth of their face on your chest as they
(and maybe you) sleep. Shh, don't tell!

~3~

Touchdown! Both our kids slept this way right
after birth. Reaching for the stars, they are!

~4~

Wearing daddy's ballcap snuggled on his shoulder.
Is there a better sight for a wife and mama?

~5~

Legend has it that I used to sleep like this too.
Love that little bum sticking up in the air.
And check out the crossed feet!

And since I can't really choose just five, and Shutterfly now has a feature that lets you share photobooks on ye olde blog, here is his first year in pictures. It was hard enough editing photo choice for the book, let alone sticking with just five for today - holy smokes!

There is your sugar shock for the day, courtesy of Casa McCormick! Now go visit Hallie and see what she's been reading (and others have been fave-ing) this week.

  2. Love the pictures! Totally sympathize! I have an almost 3 year old and a 4 month old, and I'm trying to soak up every moment with them as best as I can. My oldest sleeps with his tush in the air too :).

    1. Thanks, Jennifer! Life gets crazy, but these crazies are worth every minute of chaos...especially when they're sleeping. ;)
