Jumping Out the Window

You have heard it said that when God closes a door he opens a window. I say to you, you still have to climb out the window and jump! - Moi

I've been giving a lot of lip/fingertip service to the great desire I have to be more creative and explore "doing more" with that creativity. I've been gracing our home with some of those creative outbursts as of late. Remember these?

It has been tremendously life giving to be creating again, so I thought it might be time to take it a step further. Part of discovering charisms and the lead of the Spirit is actually putting them to use beyond your inner circle. The Hubs has to like what I make. It is part of the wedding vows. (What do you mean that's not in there?) The rest of the world, well they can stomp on a heart and ego like the best Paso Doble dancer on So You Think You Can Dance. (Have I mentioned I'm excited for the finale finale? I digress. You're shocked, I know.)

As I sit here gazing out the window, feeling the fresh cool pre-fall breeze (at least the window is open, right?), I feel like maybe it is time to take a look outside and see how far down that drop is. I will never know what lies out there if I just sit here. In that spirit, I have created an "Artwork" page where I will start to feature some of my photography and design work. At some point if I venture out that window, I may even have them available for purchase. Baby steps, though, right?
