Jen over at Conversion Diary isn't hosting a 7 Quick Takes in observance of Good Friday, so no quick takes today. Instead, I thought I'd offer the 7 last words (thus 7LW) of Jesus for contemplation on this holy day.

1) Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.
Luke 23:342) Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.
Luke 23:433) Woman, behold your son. Behold your mother.
John 19:26-274) My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?
Matthew 27:465) I am thirsty.
John 19:286) It is... finished.
John 19:307) Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.
