Five Faves: More Sights & Sounds!

I'm finding that my favorites don't tend to be products these days. Mostly because I don't try a lot of products at this point in mommyhood. Well, other than one which will be at the end, because we save the best for last (and hide it in the cupboard so it doesn't all get consumed at once!) Here's what I am lovin' on this week!

~1~
I was joking around at work with a couple colleagues, and one of them mentioned that when they first got their cell phones, she looked up a bunch of pick up lines and would start texting them to her husband. Love. Clearly this was a sign for me to go online and find good Catholic pick up lines like "Did anyone ever tell you your eyes are scapular brown?" Or, "I'd be a second class relic if you just kissed me." Or, "Boy, do you pray the Rosary? 'Cause you sure are a glorious mystery!" Yeah, I went a little nuts. The Hubbers' first response: "Drinking again?" Then he got with the program and sent me his own: "Man does not live by bread alone, so how about dinner and a movie?" Nice.

In continuing with the fun, the Hubbers has now taken to leaving me notes in the morning. I shared a few yesterday in my Beatitude Attitudes, but here is the trifecta so far! My job is now to find post-it notes so we can continue the game without killing off the rainforests.

The other night, Baby J was falling asleep. I thought he had woken up, but in fact, he had just started clapping in his sleep. It was the cutest thing ever. So today I tried to catch him awake. I got a bit, but he got distracted.

Speaking of sounds, my little songbird is the cutest at bedtime. Here's another edition of Bedtime Singalongs, with Li'l G.

~4~
IT IS SPRING! No, it is really spring! Signs of life are bursting forth! Other than my battle with allergies, I'm loving it.

~5~
The much talked about fifth favorite. It's a delectable treat for the tastebuds. A little salty, a little sweet, a little heaven. Oh yes. (Update: Many of you have asked where you might find these hiding, other than my cupboard. These delicious morsels can be found at Costco - at least in Metro Detroit. Be warned - they are addictive.)

Go join in the fun with Hallie at Moxie Wife and see what everyone is enjoying this week! Happy happy joy joy!
