2) Cici's Pizza. No, the food is not gourmet, but the location was ideal. We just came in with some decorations and they did all the work. They cooked. They cleaned. Everyone served themselves. It was easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy! We included some quarters in the favor bags for the kids to play games and two hours later, we had one little three year old's birthday party wrapped up in style. Well, Cici's style. All for a fraction of the cost and headache of hosting the party ourselves at home or borrowing someone else's home.

4) God's Little Explorer Preschool Curriculum. Once we are back on our regular routine, Gia and I will pick up with some mini-school sessions like we began a couple months ago. She's got her alphabet down pretty well, so now the next step is to practice writing and then starting to learn some sight words. This curriculum I ran across looks fun and incorporates a far wider curriculum than what I would have thought up on my own, all rooted in the Bible. Love what I see so far - we will see how Li'l G likes it. Did I mention it is free? There is a more complete version for a small fee, but since we haven't jumped in yet, free is my friend.
5) Warm slippers. These puppies are courtesy of Target (always a favorite). With the weather cooling off and a difference of opinion on how warm is warm at the Casa, I'm always being inspected for appropriate footwear. These are so very soft on the inside and plenty warm. Now for some fleece jammies and this girl will be ready for winter. Ready as far as sleep/loungewear goes, not weather...got that Mother Nature? Good.
That's it for this installment. I'll be back next week with more regularity. I've even been working on a blog calendar and post schedule. Shut the front door, right? This girl whose first handful of posts lamented about what a horrible journal keeper she is. We will see if any of this new foray into organization makes a difference. For now, go enjoy other fantastic favorites hosted by Hallie at Moxie Wife.
